Food-grain Release Orders

  • System is configured to compute quantity of food-grains needed to support the mid-day meal to be served at a school. The quantity is computed as a function of-
    • Type of food-grain to be used for the meal
    • Quantity of the food-grain needed for a single meal for a student
    • Number of days in a month on which a meal is to be served
    • Number of meals served at the school. Which is either
      • Based on the average attendance in the state or at the school.
  • Zilla Panchayat uses the system to generate a draft food-grain release order for a school.
    • For each type of School (Government Schools, Aided Schools, NCLP Schools and Madrasas).
    • Adjustment of balance after one month.
      • July balance will be adjusted while preparing release order for Oct that will be prepared on 15th Sep.
    • Once the closing balance of the food-grain has been reported the Zilla Panchayat can digitally sign the release orders.
  • Adjusted allotment of food-grains is passed on to AePDS for distribution of food-grains via PoS devices at FPS.

e-Payment Orders for Cooking Costs

  • System is configured to compute amount to be paid as cooking cost to a cooking agency for the mid-day meal to be served at a school. The amount is computed as a function of-
    • Unit cost of preparing a single meal for a student
    • Number of days in a month on which a meal is to be served
    • Number of meals served at the school. Which is either
      • Based on the average attendance in the state or at the school.
  • Zilla Panchayat generates a draft payment orders for payment of cooking cost to Cooking Agency at the School.
    • Will use the bank account, school mapping.
  • Zilla Panchayat registers deductions to cooking cost to be paid to a Cooking Agency at the School.
  • Zilla Panchayat, once satisfied with the amount of cooking cost to be paid to a cooking agency a the schools, digitally signs the payment order and recommends to the State HQ to initiate payments.
  • State HQ digitally signs the digitally signed payment orders received from the Zilla Panchayat.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.

e-Payment Orders for Transportation Cost

  • Zilla Panchayat generates draft payment orders for payment of transportation cost to Cooking Agency at the School
    • Will use the bank account, school mapping.
  • Zilla Panchayat registers deductions to transportation cost to be paid to a Cooking Agency at the School.
  • Zilla Panchayat, once satisfied with the amount of transportation cost to be paid to a cooking agency a the schools, digitally signs the payment order and recommends to the State HQ to initiate payments.
  • State HQ digitally signs the digitally signed payment orders received from the Zilla Panchayat.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.

e-Payment Orders for Honourarium

  • Zilla Panchayat generates draft payment orders for payment of honorarium to Cooks engaged at school to support the mid-day meal
    • Will use the bank account, school mapping as registered in the System.
  • Zilla Panchayat registers deductions to honourarium to be paid to a Cook at the School.
  • Zilla Panchayat, once satisfied with the amount of honourarium to be paid to a Cook, digitally signs the payment order and recommends to the State HQ to initiate payments.
  • State HQ digitally signs the digitally signed payment orders received from the Zilla Panchayat.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.

e-Payment Orders for MME Cost

  • Zilla Panchayat generates draft payment orders for payment of MME cost to the School Management Committee at the School
    • Will use the bank account, school mapping.
  • Zilla Panchayat registers deductions to MME cost to be paid to the School Management Committee at the School.
  • Zilla Panchayat, once satisfied with the amount of MME to be paid to the School Management Committee, digitally signs the payment order and recommends to the State HQ to initiate payments.
  • State HQ digitally signs the digitally signed payment orders received from the Zilla Panchayat.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.

e-Payment Orders for Food Security Allowance

  • Zilla Panchayat generates draft payment orders for payment of FSA cost to the enrolled Student at the School.
    • Will use the bank account of the student/ sibling/ parent.
  • Zilla Panchayat digitally signs the payment order and recommends to the State HQ to initiate payments.
  • State HQ digitally signs the digitally signed payment orders received from the Zilla Panchayat.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.

e-Payment Orders for Food-grains to Civil Supplies Corporation

  • State HQ generates a Draft Order Payment Order for payment of cost of food-grains supplied to Schools for the PM Poshan Nirman Shakti Portal.
  • State HQ digitally signs the payment order.
  • Digitally signed orders are electronically routed to the Bank for payment.
